We can create and design a fully updatable website for your business or personal site. Our web pages are hand coded and created to your liking. All web pages can easily be edited however, basic HTML knowledge is needed. Many fatures are available when creating a website such as PHP scripting, contact e-mail forms, image galleries, banner/logo creation, sound, video/film and much more.
Can you rebuild a site as well as build a new one?
The simple answer is yes. We can rebuild a website that either we or another web design agency has created. Sometime's there can be isses depending on the language or software that has been used to create your current website however, please get in touch and we'll see what we can do.
Do you provide web hosting and domain names?
We currently do not provide domain names and web hosting however, we do plan to provide this service in the near future. Once we have completed your website we'll assist you every step of the way to purchasing a domain name and web hosting. This is a very simple process and we'll only recommend the very best domain name and web hosting companies.
How long does it take for you to create a website?
This varies as larger websites tend to take longer than small or medium websites. Larger websites tend to take around 4/5 weeks to create whilst small ones tend to take roughly three weeks. However, if you are on a deadline then we'll aim to have your website created for your preferred date.
How much do you charge per website?
As stated on our services page, we have two web design packages available. The cost of your website will depend entirely on the size and features you require. Are there any hidden costs?
There are no hidden costs. Once we fully understand what you are looking for we'll calculate the cost and that's it. The only way the cost will rise is if you decide at a later point you want more work done on your site that was not originally listed on the contract at the start.
How do I update/edit my website?
Unfortunately, you will require some knowledge of the HTML/CSS language if you wish to regularly update your website. Granite City Designs does however, provide a Rental Design Package in which we can update your website for you for a small fee. Even once your project has been completed we're here to help whenever need be. Our clients can e-mail us anytime if they are having troubles with their website. You can view a HTML/CSS tutorial here
